More Party Caricatures

These are some recent photos of caricatures drawn at events. Each of these sketches takes about 3 minutes per person, including body. It is not easy to get photos of these as the line is usually backed up, and there is no time between guests to take out a camera and take photos, but on the rare occasion that there is a short break in the line or I have an assistant,...aand I have my camera, there are shots like these to post. I haven't been real organized so I'm not sure which photos are from which events, or even what month some of them were taken, but here are some samples of my live work. If you are or know somebody who is featured here, please contact me at d_arneson@sbcglobal.net. and I will include your name and send you something. Also, if you've been drawn by me at an event and you'd like to be featured on this page, please send a photo of your caricature (preferably with you next to it) to the e-mail above. It's always fun to see my work after an event because it gives me an oportunity to critique my work. Usually I only see each piece for a few minutes, and then it's gone forever. I really enjoy drawing these, and people seem to enjoy having it done. Sometimes I can't believe I get paid to do this.

Caricatures with Interesting and Unusual Themes

I drew this caricature at a recent party and the theme these students requested was so creative and original that I had to post it. They wanted to be drawn as a trio, giving the guy a dinosaur body with the girls riding him. I'm not really sure what the joke is behind it but I'm sure it's an interesting story. Made for a fun sketch, anyway.

We create a cartoon in three to five minutes, wich means one artist can draw up to 20 people per hour (That's their face, name, and activity).
